Member Information                         

Under the Health Professions Act, a person who wishes to work as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in Alberta must be registered with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA).

Registration with the CRPNA assures the public and employers that an individual has met the academic and clinical requirements required to practice in the profession.

Psychiatric Nurses who meet the requirements for registration will be issued a unique registration number and an Alberta Practice Permit/License.
